Audio Unit generator support for additional signal types opens up endless possibilities. Mac OS X comes with SignalSuite Features:

Audio output device you want Mac OS X (version 10.4 or higher)

sinusoid
Square Wave with arbitrary duty cycle
Triangle Wave Wave
Sawtooth
Random Noise (white or pink)

Swept Sine (chirp) linear or logarithmic frequency sweep
